Traditional Worship at Providence

Providence holds an 8:30 am worship service in the Mills Building Chapel, which has a faithful group of parishioners who gather for fellowship afterwards and many then participate in one of the 10:00 am Bible Study classes.  The main traditional service is at 11:00 am in the sanctuary with full choir and often special music.  Fellowship time follows.  Rev. Dr. Wall presents the same sermon at both traditional services.  Fellowship is at 10:00 so everyone can participate before going to Sunday School classes. Once each quarter all three congregations gather for a combined service so everyone in the church can join with people who may attend other worship times.

Visitors are always welcome.  Unique elements of our worship include singing The Lord’s Prayer, presenting offerings based on free will rather than any pledge card, and holding hands at the closing benediction.  Instrumental and vocal music prepared for the glory of God by Dr. JooSoo Son is often a highlight. 30 minutes of each service are shown the following Saturday and Sunday on WHHI-TV at 6:00 and 10:30 am, but we hope you will attend worship in person.
