There are many other ways to Cause God Joy at Providence, and one essential way is through giving your time, talents, and spiritual gifts in ministry volunteering. The diverse ministries in which you might volunteer are as varied as our Children’s Ministries, Buildings & Grounds volunteer opportunities, our music ministries, caring ministries such as Visitation and Stephen Ministry, and our local and international mission efforts.

In 1 Corinthians Chapters 12-14, the Apostle Paul refers to a number of spiritual gifts and emphasizes the importance of each gift. He further says that each member of the Church (the “Body”) is given one or more spiritual gifts, it is essential that each member do its part, so that the Church can function properly. At Providence, we encourage you to learn and develop the gifts and talents God gives you to be a part of the Church’s larger ministry, and we invite you volunteer and to get involved. Our church office and ministry leaders have updated lists of ministry opportunities and needs, and we would love to speak with you further about the part you can have in our ministries.
